Once each day, excluding Sundays and National Holidays, inmate mail delivered to the jail is distributed at the earliest opportunity. - All mail that has stickers affixed to the envelope, or is heavily scented in perfume/cologne, will be returned to the sender.
- All mail items are opened, searched and inspected for contraband. Incoming mail may be read unless attorney/client or doctor/patient privilege applies.
- The jail will accept Newspapers/Magazines which are prepaid subscriptions and received through the US Postal Service or carrier delivery.
- Paperback books are available in the institution library, or those sent to an inmate directly from a publisher or bookstore only. The jail will not accept books that are sent from family/friends or that are hardcover.
- All photographs sent to an inmate must be appropriate and will be approved by a correctional officer. The jail will not accept Polaroids.
