Waushara County Clerk's Office Now Accepts Passport Applications
Posted Date:
12/29/2018
The County Clerk's Office is pleased to announce that it now accepts passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State.
The Waushara County Clerk of Court's Office will no longer be accepting applications effective January 1, 2019. Earlier this year, Clerk of Circuit Court Melissa Zamzow and County Clerk Megan Kapp began discussing how the two offices could better serve citizens applying for a U.S. passport. Many applicants come to apply without the required proof of citizenship documentation, specifically, a certified birth certificate. This document can be obtained from the Register of Deed's Office, which is located on the main floor several feet away from the County Clerk's Office, making the time to obtain the documentation needed more convenient.

U.S. citizens planning international travel may apply for their passports in the County Clerk's Office Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by appointment only. To make an appointment, please call 920-787-0442, ext. 1.
